The story
Every kid has a dream job. Tanner's was professional athlete.
He chased it the whole way to Wichita State, where the head strength coach still describes him as the most dedicated learner he'd seen in thirty years of coaching — and equally built to lead. That combination didn't end up on a field. It ended up in a mortgage office in Kansas City, where "be at your best so you can help others get to their best" became the operating motto of the Garver Group.
Tanner started originating loans in 2018 and has since helped hundreds of Kansas City families on both sides of State Line — first-time buyers, move-up buyers, veterans, new-construction buyers — earn a 4.96-star average across 978 verified reviews.
